🚨 Pretty cool news! 🚨
NutriSelect.ai (and I) were just chosen to participate in a weeklong boot camp for entrepreneurs. It’s a competition. Will I win? Maybe. But I’ve already won because the experience will be priceless.
Oh yeah did I mention they are going to film it for a documentary!? But that’s all the details you are going to get from me for now. You will have to wait until filming is complete and it’s released for the full reveal!
In preparation I need to gather interesting video clips of my work, life, hobbies, etc for a vignette they will produce about me and NutriSelect. Hence the clip below.
I am a modern-day Renaissance man (at least that’s what people have called me for years), visionary, entrepreneur, writer & author (AI didn’t write this article), inspirational speaker, karaoke contest finalist, outdoor enthusiast, health and fitness advocate, chef, musician, artist, scuba diver, mystic and so on. You name it. I’ve probably done it. I’ve never been afraid to try something new or take risks.
NutriSelect is my 9th startup in 27 years in the natural products industry. I’ve raised capital. I’ve had some success. In the end the previous 8 ventures failed or were not as successful as I had envisioned. They say statistically I will fail again, but I don’t pay attention to that. Why? Because I have a secret. I’m not telling you because you wouldn’t believe me. What you think about me is none of my business. You don’t know what I know.
I asked myself last year “Do I really want to do this again?” “Do I want the pain and struggle of taking this on?” It’s extremely difficult and not for the faint of heart. You know the answer already.
During all this the term “unicorn” has been popping up in startup and entrepreneur circles. I generally thought this meant success but didn’t know the exact definition. I had to look it up. In business it means “a privately held startup company valued at over one billion US dollars.”
Oh yeah, I have no doubt NutriSelect will be that, but that’s not why I’m doing this. I have a serious mission. If you know me, you know I’m all about “the science”. I intend to completely transform the supplement industry and the way consumers buy supplements. Ultimately, it will elevate wellness to a whole new level. And I haven’t even revealed all my vision yet or how I will do that.
So, if you’re in this industry prepare yourself. Change is coming. No more posing. No more hype. You will need to pivot or find something else to do. Just remember I warned you and it won’t be me doing it. It will be the consumers. I’m just putting the power back in their hands where it belongs.
Call me arrogant for my transparency and boldness if you want. But don’t confuse that with 100% confidence, 0% doubt. R.W. Emerson said, “To be great is to be misunderstood.” The story of my life. I only speak Truth. Just ask yourself if you believe me. What does your gut tell you? You’ll know the answer immediately. You know this change needs to happen. You’ve known for a long time. No more elephants in the room.
